Hallowell Rooming House

Marvellous location in the parallel parking area with everything at the door. Spotlessly clean, well-kept rooms with microwave and mini fridge. Nice welcome from owner.

The place was clean with special atmosphere close to all the major arteries out of town, several area restaurants and shops, and the Waterfall. The staff was restful and amicable, providing info to us. Room was delightful and comfy, equipped with coffee table, mini fridge, for instance. The balcony was overlooking river.

Comfortable, clean, and secure place to stay. We appreciated the friendly staff and their great attitude 😊.

Everything is excellent, I recommend the apartment. The owner, Andrea, makes you feel at home. Boasts exceptionally comfortable bed and hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows.

During my recent stay at Hallowell, I was kinda surprised by the homely atmosphere of the guest house. The entertainment room, gym, sauna, and kitchen/dining area were all fantastic amenities, made me feel right at home. The owner, Andrea, was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The highlight was definitely the fine view of the river from my room on the top floor. It captured the essence of Maine's scenic beauty.

The value for money at the Rooming House was excellent - I couldn't believe I got so much for such a reasonable price. The room itself was excellent, with special touches like a toothbrush holder and a stocked refrigerator. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the town center, and the staff were cute and accommodating.

The only suggestion I have for breakfast is to consider expanding the menu. Everything else was perfect.

The atmosphere was peaceful and the entire place was spotless, set in a pleasant location close to the river.

This place was charming and quiet, and the owner made the experience very comfortable, we were satisfied with the queen bed and appreciated the attention to the smallest details.

This place comes with a work desk, coffee/tea making facilities, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels.

Great extra to have a bathtub in the bathroom 🛁.

For the price, the value we got at this hotel was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and stylish with special touches like welcome chocolates and a well-stocked coffee station.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast experience better would be a wider variety of breakfast items.

Quaint house with charm, fitness room, sauna, hot tub, fridge. Parking available at front door for easy access. Advil and sleep mask provided. Perfect location, within walking distance to everything.
